Derwent Mills Industrial Location is a great location to live and work. It is home to a variety of large companies that include major corporations and is located near numerous cities. The area is a cultural environment that contains a collection of cotton generators from the 18th and the 19th century, along with worker’s housing. It is considered to be the birthplace of modern manufacturing, and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Richard Arkwright’s first cotton mill, Cromford Mill is the most famous.

Richard Arkwright, a 18th century inventor of organic cotton spinning, developed these industrial facilities to accommodate his latest technology. They were the model factories for all across the globe. The power to run these machines was supplied by the Derwent river. Derwent and they were built alongside other cotton mills. The site was eventually taken over by the present city of Derbyshire.

The industrial park program offers a variety of houses for those who wish to start their own business. These properties are separated into 27 single-storey business/workshop contraptions that are arranged around courtyards designed to facilitate parking and circulation. They are built with metal portal frames and solid concrete floors, and feature manuall controlled up and loading doors that are separate for staff access. These are powered by just three phases of electricity, and come with EPC ratings ranging from B47 up to EPC B48.
