Of course, sightseeing tours are best if you are interested in seeing all of Boston’s top sights in a short time frame. Both walking and bus tours are often full of insightful notions and fun facts that only the locals seem to know. Bus tours tend to cover a broader area, giving you an idea of the city’s layout. Though I love walking tours, I also suggest bus tours, like the Boston Hop-on Hop-off Trolley. When I’m visiting a new destination, my favorite way to get to know the area is by taking a tour.
It opened in 1912 and the first game took place just 5 days after the Titanic sunk. Fenway Park is the oldest Major League baseball park that is still in use. We are not baseball fans so instead we chose to take a tour (at a much more budget friendly price, and it is included on the Go Card!). It’s the perfect end to a day on the Freedom Trail.
